Cooking and Coining

Tonight was the first group dinner we've had in a while. First Max was out of town, then Tom & I were, and then Max was again. But now everyone's in attendance, and the foods are plentiful.

Course one was grilled lamb with Israeli couscous, sun-dried tomatoes, onions and feta. Course two is going to be bacon-wrapped pheasant, if it ever finishes cooking. It's been in the oven for well-nigh two hours and does not seem to be done yet. Hmm. With the pheasant will be garlic smashed potatoes and asparagus. Rice pudding is to be the dessert.

As we wait for the pheasant to phinish, we've been sitting around looking up the crazy names that exist for groups of animals (a murder of crows, a prickle of porcupines, a dray of squirrels, etc.). Tom decided that we ought to coin our own, for a group of bloggers. My suggestion - a click of bloggers. Mmm...punny. Go forth now and spread it like wildfire. ;)

Off to check the birds again. Photos and whatnot tomorrow, or maybe Tuesday. Sometime in the relatively near future.
