Salt-baked fish (a European sea bass called Branzino)
(ML was very excited)
Israeli couscous with raisins and onions
Sauteed squash with onions, pepper & lemon
Dessert was a Meringue Fruit Torte cake from Porto's Bakery.
The little lad's timing was surprisingly good; he slept in his stroller from the time we got there, waking up to be fed and changed only moments after I had eaten my last bite of cake. He successfully charmed all in attendance, with the possible exception of Max's cat, Spork, who was certainly intrigued but not necessarily charmed.
As always, a fine time was had by all. :)
