Car repair!

The air conditioner in our car has been broken for a bit less than a year. It went out toward the end of last summer, but the repair was going to be kind of expensive (and we were already paying to have a bunch of other stuff done), and we were heading into fall/winter, so we put it off. However, as we are now ramping up to the start of the sweltering time of year, it seemed prudent to get that handled.

So, I called around, got a few quotes, but it turned out that the dealer actually had the lowest repair cost by far. Go figure. I drove over there this morning, and three hours later, I was driving away with a freshly-fixed air conditioner. Huzzah!

While I was gone, Tom took the kids to the playground, and then we spent the rest of the afternoon just hanging out. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday.

What a great way to spend your Sunday! I can only imagine how hard it was to hit the summer road with your car’s broken AC. Good thing you’ve found a reliable mechanic for your car repairs! Anyway, I hope you won’t have any other car troubles in the next days. Thanks for sharing! :)

It’s excruciating to travel under the summer heat, yes? Finding a reliable and affordable repair center can be difficult, and you’re lucky to have a great deal for your car repair. Kudos to your mechanic for finishing the repair within a short period of time, so that you can spend more of it with your family.

I can only imagine how uncomfortable it was for you and your family to travel with a broken AC. However, I’m really glad that you were able to find a reliable mechanic along the way. I do hope you’re able to consult your mechanic for regular checkups to prevent the worse problems on your car. Anyway, it looks like you’ve had one of the best family hangouts yet! I wish the upcoming ones won’t be messed up by car troubles again. Have a great day!
